Early 19th century mahogany partners desk

Mahogany partners desk with blind tooled goats skin 'Tobacco' writing surface. Classic arrangement of drawers on one side and locking cupboards with shelves on the other. Desk constructed of exceptional West Indies figured mahogany, brass escutcheons, thick moulded edges to oak lined drawers fitted with turned knob handles. Some additional handles have been previously fitted which have been removed. Pedestals sit on free moving castors for ease. Circa 1820.
