Large Howard & Sons sofa on turned walnut legs
Sublimely comfortable Howard and Sons three seat sofa on ring turned walnut legs, brass caps and castors. Makers stamp to underside rail, double serial number to back leg and castors. Completely re-upholstered from the frame up with the original horsehair stuffing and fustian down cushions to a grey H&S ticking. Circa 1880.
