4 pillar quadruped dining table
Seven piece mahogany top spanning just under 16 feet in length sitting on four turned pillar quadrupling pedestals, brass caps and castors. Supremely well figured dense mahogany leaves. Surface has developed a nice golden lustre with slight differentiation in colour between the leaves that have been stowed away to be brought out for special occasions. Seats 18 to 22 comfortably or 24 with two at each end. All original brassware present. Pattern of Gillows. Circa 1840.
