Mid 19th century Shoolbred sofa
Sofa terminating on turned walnut legs, brass collars and ceramic castors. Attributed to James Shoolbred of Tottenham Court Road, London. The leg fits their pattern of which we have a chair signed by them in our private collection. Circa 1880. Completely re-upholstered from the frame up using only traditional methods and the best natural materials. Pure down filled back, arms and seat cushions enclosed in Lancashire woven cloth. Part finished in Colefax & Fowler's Felicity red linen. Available as is, finished further or in a different material of which requires 14 meters.
